On March 7, 2026, members of the Surf City Rotary continue to do amazing work locally and beyond, assisting incredible organizations to make Huntington Beach, Orange County and our world a better place.

This March, we participated in Huntington Beach Surf City Rotary’s SPLASH fundraiser event.

Cell Dogs received a $5,000 donation, and our Executive Director, Janette Thomas even wowed the crowd with an impassioned speech about our mission and the work we do. Her service dog Bella also joined us to highlight how life-changing animals can be, and, how to steal the show.

As one of their featured non-profit partners, we were able engage their guests and supporters. It is no surprise that we won over many hearts introducing our cause to attendees. It was inspiring to see such an impactful group of people within our community, supporting our cause, so that we can carry on bringing second chances to people and dogs.
